The Grand Cherokee is getting a supercharged upgrade with the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. With a whopping 707 horsepower, this is one Jeep you’ll want to keep on the blacktop.
The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee is expected to land at Steve Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Little Rock, Arkansas in the fall/winter of 2017.
The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has a Supercharged 6.2L V8 engine under the hood that delivers 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque when working with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
With that power behind it, the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk can go from 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds and drive a quarter mile in 11.6-seconds, reaching 180 mph. With the new Brembo braking system and the largest-ever front brakes on a Jeep, the Trackhawk can brake from 60-0 in 114 feet.
The Trackhawk was made for the pavement, but off-roading is what Jeep does best and this vehicle doesn’t disappoint. With the five drive-mode Selec-Track system (Auto, Sport, Track, Tow and Snow) and Bilstein adaptive damping suspension, the Trackhawk can go anywhere you want.
Not only is the 2018 Grand Cherokee build to handle it all, but it’s built to keep you safe. It has over 70 available and standard safety security features, the 4×4 models were named as one of Autobytel’s top 10 safest mid-size SUVs.
Some of the 70-plus safety and security technologies are: front and rear crumple zones, seven airbags, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, Blind Spot Monitoring System, LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Paralell and Perpendicular Park Assist, ParkSense Front and Rear Park Assist Systems and ParkView Rear Backup Camera.
The exterior of the Trackhawk has a pretty sweet look with the front fascia’s aggressive redesign, quad-tip exhaust and new standard 20×10-inch Titanium finish wheels that expose the yellow Brembo brake calipers.
The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has an updated Uconnect 8.4-inch standard touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Performance Pages and other apps to put all the information at the driver’s fingertips.
The Trackhawk is available in nine colors: Granite Crystal, Billet Silver, Diamond Black, Bright White, Ivory Tri-coat, Rhino, Velvet Red, True Blue and Redline 2.
