There are eight trims available of the 2018 Ram 3500: Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Lone Star, Sport, Power Wagon, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, Limited and Limited Tungsten. Pricing for the 3500 starts at $33,245.

The 2018 Ram 3500 offers several cab and box lengths in both 2WD and 4WD in addition to its eight trims, so there’s the perfect size for everyone. These are:  regular cab 8-foot bed, crew cab 6-foot 4-inch bed, crew cab 8-foot bed and mega cab 6-foot 4-inch bed.

There are three engines powering the eight different trims of the 2018 Ram 3500, and they’re all solid powerhouses. The 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine produces 383 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. The 6.4-liter HEMI V8 produces 410 horsepower, 429 lb.-ft. of torque and features Variable Valve Timing with Fuel Saver Technology. The 6.7-liter Cummins High-Output Turbo Diesel engine delivers up to 385 horsepower and 900 lb.-ft. of torque.

If suspension is important to you, you’ll like what the 2018 Ram 3500 uses. It keeps the Hotchkiss leaf spring system from the previous model and offers a supplemental air suspension system as well.

Now let’s talk hauling and towing. The 2018 Ram 3500  can tow up to 31,210 pounds and has a max payload of 7,390 pounds.
