The 2019 Jeep Wrangler is available in five grades: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon and Moab, which is new this year. The Sport, Sport S and Rubicon are available as both two- and four-door options while the Sahara and Moab are only available with four doors. MSRP starts at $28,045.
The 2019 Jeep Wrangler is powered by two engines, depending on the grade. The 3.6L engine comes standard with Engine Stop-Start technology and produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque.
The 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with eTorque technology produces 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably well aware of how capable the Wrangler is, but we’ll remind you anyway. It has two advanced 4×4 systems that were introduced with the debut of the JL body style in 2018. Command-Trac, which comes on every model save for the Rubicon, has a two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ration and next-generation solid Dana front and rear axles with a 2.45 rear axle ratio. Rock-Trac, which is only on Rubicon models, has heavy-duty next-generation Dana 44 front and rear axles with a “4LO” ration of 4:1. Tru-Lok locking differentials and a 4.10 front and rear axle ratio are standard.
Adventuring off-road is even more fun with all the open-air options the 2019 Jeep Wrangler has. It has a fold-down windshield, several hard and soft top options as well as the available Sky One-Touch Power Top. The latter operates with the push of a button and allows the roof to fully open in roughly 20 seconds.
The 2019 Wrangler has more than 75 safety and security features as well as three Uconnect infotainment system options, making this Wrangler better than it was when it debuted a year ago.
