There are six grades of the 2019 Ram 1500: Tradesman, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn and Limited. Pricing starts at $31,695.

The 2019 Ram 1500 is powered by one of two engines and both have been upgraded with the new eTorque mild hybrid system to allow for better performance, drivability, towing and payload capabilities.

With eTorque, the standard 3.6L V6 produces 305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. With eTorque on the 5.7L HEMI, the truck delivers 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque.

The 2019 Ram 1500 is 225 pounds lighter and it’s made of 98 percent high strength steel, which allows for improved durability. The 2019 Ram 1500 is also the most aerodynamic pickup truck in its segment thanks to its grille shutters, air suspension and air dam as exclusive aerodynamic features and a .357 coefficient of drag.

In addition, the 1500 can tow and haul more weight than ever before. It has a best-in-class V8 engine max towing of up to 12,750 pounds and a max payload of 2,300 pounds.

You can definitely tell the 2019 Ram 1500 is a whole new breed because of its looks. The headlamps are wider and more slender and every grille in the 2019 model lineup has “RAM” in big bold letters on the front.

Inside is where our favorite features lie: the available 12-inch color touchscreen, which is the largest in its class. The touchscreen is the hub for the Uconnect 4C system, which is reconfigurable and has split-screen capability for dual-application operation.
