2020 Chrysler Voyager in Little Rock, Arkansas
Chrysler is introducing a new minivan, based on the Pacifica, at a cheaper price point. It’s called Voyager. Cue the Star Trek references now!
The Voyager will offer more value as it was designed for the budget-friendly shopper as well as fleet customers.
The 2020 Voyager is intended to replace the Pacifica L and LX models and will be available in three grades: L, LX and LXi. The latter is for fleet only. Pricing has yet to be released.
Voyager will be powered by the next generation of the award-winning Pentastar V6 gas engine. The engine is mated to a TorqueFlite nine-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain will deliver 287 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque.
Like the Pacifica, the 2020 Chrysler Voyager will come standard with seating for seven.
As the Voyager is based on the Pacifica, they’re practically identical with a few main differences. The 2020 Voyager has a Voyager liftgate badge and comes in different exterior colors. Those colors are Jazz Blue Pearl Coat, Velvet Red Pearl Coat, Granite Crystal Metallic Coat, Billet Metallic Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and Bright White Clear Coat.
The interior of the 2020 Chrysler Voyager is available in three colors: Alloy, Toffee and Black. Alloy is available in UltraTec leatherette on the LXi and Toffee and Black are available in cloth on the L and LX and UltraTec leatherette on the LXi.
Now let’s talk tech and convenience features. The Voyager has a standard 3.5-inch digital information display and Uconnect 4 system with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has six speakers with Active Noise Cancellation for a truly great audio experience.
Because safety is a concern for nearly every driver, the 2020 Chrysler Voyager has an available SafetyTec Group with ParkSense rear park assist with stop, Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection.
The LXi has a few extra features that the other two models don’t. It features UltraTec leatherette seats, security alarm, second-row Stow ’n Go seats, second-row retractable sunshades, auto-dim rearview mirror, remote start, universal garage door opener and black Stow ’n Place roof rack.
For those who will be transporting loved ones in need of assistance, the BraunAbility rear- and side-entry conversions give a wider entryway, more interior space, an enhanced ramp securement system and passenger seat flexibility.
