The 2022 Ram 1500 has four available engine options: the 3.6-liter eTorque Pentastar V6 engine, delivering 305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque; the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine, delivering 260 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft. of torque; the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with variable-valve timing (VVT), 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque; and the 5.7-liter eTorque Hemi V8 with VVT, 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. The 5.7-liter V8 Hemi with eTorque offers towing capacity up to 12,750 pounds. Add on available four-wheel drive and you can go from the pavement to the trail with ease.
The 2022 Ram 1500 is offered in nine trim levels: Tradesman, HFE, Big Horn, Lone Star, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition and the Limited. Configurations for 4×2 and 4×4 models include the Quad Cab six-foot and four-inch bed, Crew Cab five-foot and seven-inch bed and the Crew Cab six-foot, four-inch bed. As for exterior paint colors, the Ram 1500 is available in 11 hues: Delmonico Red Pearl, Flame Red, Hydro Blue, Patriot Blue Pearl, Maximum Steel Metallic, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, Olive Green, Diamond Black Crystal Pearl, Bright White and Ivory Tri-Coat. Each color looks gorgeous with the 1500’s full LED headlamps, signature grille design, beautifully sculpted exterior and Ram insignia.
With plenty of room on the inside, the Ram 1500 is more than just a workhorse. It’s a luxury experience. Leather heated and ventilated seats offer total comfort, and the Uconnect 4C infotainment system comes with a massive 12-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth Connectivity. The all-new Head-Up Display (HUD) is an available full-color display projected on the windshield directly in front of the driver. This display is customizable through the UConnect system and can show information and safety warnings like Lane Departure, Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, current speed, current gear and speed limit.
