2018 Dodge Durango SRT has Best User Experience | Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

A three-row SUV has never been so fun to drive and we’re not the only ones who think so. The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT has been recognized for its ease of use and advanced technology as WardsAuto has named it to the Wards 10 Best User Experience List for 2017.

WardsAuto evaluated 23 vehicles for their overall user experience and narrowed it down to the 10 best. The vehicles were rated on user friendliness, infotainment features, information/displays, vehicle connectivity, sound systems, driver assistance technology, system compatibility and materials.

The 2018 Durango SRT is luxurious, functional and impressive with all its innovative advancements and easy-to-use features. These features and advancements are all designed to keep drivers informed, connected and engaged while keeping eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.

“The Dodge Durango SRT presents a dazzling array of graphical elements, including a smoky SRT animation at startup and shutdown, a slick 3-D navigation map and an equally colorful TFT gauge cluster, said WardsAuto Senior Editor Tom Murphy in a press release. “An SRT button at the base of the center stack triggers a series of Performance Pages to help drivers tap into the vehicle’s prodigious performance and set the transmission, stability control, suspension, steering and all-wheel-drive systems to their liking.”

The Durango SRT has the new fourth-generation Uconnect system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display that has SRT Performance Pages, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD Radio, SiriusXM Guardian connected services and a five-year trial of SiriusXM Travel Link and Traffic. This new system has been improved with enhanced processing power and a faster startup time.

The seven-inch, thin-film transistor (TFT) digital instrument gauge cluster is customizable with 180-mpg speedometer. This allows drivers to choose which layout they prefer and what information they need to see at that moment.
