2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition

August 30th, 2018 by

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL has it’s first special edition since debuting earlier this year, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition. If you’re familiar with the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, you know what this vehicle is about.

This limited-edition Wrangler honors the 50-plus-year tradition Jeep has had with the weeklong event of technical off-roading in some of the most beautiful trails the U.S. has to offer.

If you’re a follower of the Safari, you also know that Jeep traditionally debuted several new concept vehicles for the occasion. So, a special Moab Edition of the 2018 Wrangler is more than fitting.

The Wrangler Moab Edition is based on the Wrangler Sahara. It has a Rubicon hood and steel bumpers with removable end caps, aggressive 32-inch mud-terrain tires, LED headlights and taillights, Moab hood decal and 17-inch Rubicon wheels in Low-Gloss Black. The tow hooks, grille throats and headlight surrounds are also painted Low-Gloss Black. Moab Edition will come standard with Rubicon rock rails, but Sahara side steps are available at no additional charge. A body-color hardtop is standard, and the Dual Top Group and Sky One-Touch power top are available.

The 2018 Wrangler Moab Edition will come in nine colors: Firecracker Red, Ocean Blue Metallic, Sting Gray, Bright White, Black, Mojito!, Punk’n Metallic, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal.

Heading to the interior, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition has soft leather with the Leather Interior Group. It has leather-trimmed seats and a leather-wrapped dashboard with contrast stitching. The Moab Edition also has a Safety Group as well, which includes Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection and ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines. Other standard features are Selec-Trac full-time two-speed transfer case, Trac-Lock limited-slip rear differential, Passive Keyless Entry, 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with navigation, nine-speaker premium Alpine sound system and all-weather slush mats.

If you need more, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition has some cool available equipment as well. This includes a Trailer Tow and Rail cargo management system and a Cold Weather Group with remote start and heated front seats and steering wheel.

We bet we’ll be seeing the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition at next year’s Easter Jeep Safari!
