2019 Dodge Charger

The Charger is unique among muscle cars. It can handle sharp curves at high speeds just as easily as it can handle your friends and their stuff, not to mention their smartphones. It’s a sweet vehicle and it’s even more awesome for 2019.
The 2019 Dodge Charger lineup introduces two new models for next year and they do not disappoint.
There are six models of the 2019 Dodge Charger: SXT, GT, SXT AWD, R/T, R/T Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat. The SXT AWD and GT with RWD are new for 2019, both of which give superior performance so you can have fun on the road and make other drivers jealous of what you have under the hood.
The base SXT provides a lot of bang for your buck with remote start, electronic stability control, automatic halogen projector headlamps with LED accents and three 12-volt power outlets.
New for 2019
The 2019 Charger GT is the first time the GT model will be offered in rear-wheel-drive. The GT RWD performance model utilizes the award-winning Pentastar V6 engine to deliver 300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque.
The GT has a new look for 2019 with standard performance hood, sculpted side sills, spoiler and seats.
The SXT AWD is another first for the Charger as it’s the first all-wheel-drive for this trim. It’s also powered by the Pentastar V6 that’s paired with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission for the same level of performance as the GT RWD. The all-wheel-drive system is automatic with an active transfer case and front-axle disconnect. This helps minimize powertrain parasitic losses.
It’s also super efficient with up to 27 highway MPG and has available houndstooth cloth or caramel Nappa leather seats.
Returning, but better than ever
The R/T and R/T Scat Pack are stellar performers as they both have V8 HEMI engines. The R/T is powered by a 5.7L HEMI V8, while the R/T Scat Pack is powered by the naturally aspirated 392 HEMI V8. The R/T has new looks with its performance hood, sculpted side sills, spoiler and seats. The R/T Scat Pack has a new performance grille with dual air inlets and a new Scat Pack angry bee badge.
The top dog of the 2019 Charger lineup, though, is the SRT Hellcat. The Hellcat has the same new performance grille with dual inlets as the R/T Scat Pack and adds Launch Assist, Line Lock, After-Run Chiller and Torque Reserve as well as other aesthetic improvements.
The 2019 Charger SRT Hellcat is still the quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world thanks to its supercharged. 6.2L HEMI V8 engine that gives 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.
We’re getting excited about these vehicles already! The 2019 Dodge Charger is slated to arrive at Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram later this year.
