2019 Ram 1500 is Only Pickup on Wards 10 Best User Experience List

Rugged. Innovative. User-friendly. Yep, we’re describing the 2019 Ram 1500. The all-new truck has been named by WardsAuto editors to the Wards 10 Best User Experience List for 2018 and it’s the only pickup to earn the honor.

Now in its third year, the 10 Best User Experience List compiles the cream of the crop. WardsAuto editors evaluated 25 vehicles and rated them in the following categories to pick the top 10: user-friendliness, sound systems, vehicle connectivity, infotainment features, information/displays, driver assistance technology, voice control, system compatibility, materials and overall value.

The 2019 Ram 1500 has a long list of fun and innovative technology and convenience features, like 360-degree Surround View Camera with bird’s eye perspective; SiriusXM with 360L personalized listening experience; multifunction USB ports and optional integrated wireless charging pad; and Harman Kardon audio system with 19 premium speakers, 900-watt surround sound amplifier, 10-inch subwoofer and active noise cancelation.

The crown jewel of the 2019 Ram 1500’s tech, though, is its class-exclusive 12-inch reconfigurable touchscreen. It uses the fourth-generation Uconnect system and allows for split-screen capability with pinch, tap and zoom gestures. It has available navigation with one-step, voice-controlled destination entry and enhanced 3D map graphics.

This is the second win for the Ram 1500 on a WardsAuto list, too.
