May 31st, 2019 by

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator has won five awards from various media outlets in its first month of being on the market. With the way this truck has been anticipated over the last two years, we’re not surprised to see it garnering such rave reviews and recognition.

Here are five awards from three different outlets the 2020 Gladiator has won.

Southern Automotive Media Association Topless in Miami

Jeep Wranglers are fun to drive topless and now so are Gladiators! The 2020 Gladiator is the only pickup that allows for open-air driving via top and door removal and the SAMA Topless in Miami convertible and panoramic sunroof competition has noticed. The Gladiator was given the title of Best Truck during the ninth annual event.

“Our members especially enjoyed driving the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator, which combines pickup truck and Jeep attributes along with the unique experience of open-air driving,” SAMA President Paul Borden said. “The Jeep Gladiator offers great functionality, versatility and capability, making it the ultimate vehicle for any outdoor, open-air adventure.”

Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association Family Car Challenge

The 2020 Gladiator was awarded Best Family Pickup Truck at this year’s awards by GAAMA. All vehicles were evaluated in several family-oriented categories by Journalists after they drove around in Alpharetta, Ga.

“The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator earned its title of Best Family Pickup Truck with an exceptional blend of both pickup truck and Jeep attributes that offer functionality and versatility with clever storage solutions and a bed that offers even more utility,” GAAMA President Daryl Killian said.

Northwest Automotive Press Association Mudfest

The Gladiator dominated at this year’s NWAPA Mudfest, taking the 2019 Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year and winning the Truck and Extreme Capabilities categories.

This year’s Mudfest was the 25th annual event and it’s the first time in its history that a vehicle has won all three categories. John Vincent, NWAPA president of U.S. News & World Report said this year’s group of vehicles was the most diverse in the last 25 years too.

“The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator earned its title of Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year with an exceptionally functional blend of SUV and pickup attributes that northwest consumers crave,” he said.
