Arkansas is known as The Natural State for a reason! Arkansas has some of the most beautiful state parks in the country, and plenty of these scenic getaways are perfect for a day-trip from Little Rock! This summer looks a little different than others, but it is still possible to enjoy the beauty of Arkansas while practicing safe social distancing. Here are some of our favorite spots and how to visit them responsibly!
Pinnacle Mountain State Park
Pinnacle Mountain State Park is just down the road in West Little Rock, but once you’re at the top, you’ll feel worlds away! The park has over 15 miles of trails of varying levels so there is plenty of space to stay safely distanced from others. The Base Trail is a 1.5-mile trail at the base of the mountain and it’s the perfect leisurely walk. If you’re feeling adventurous, consider taking the East Summit Trail. Be ready to climb over some massive boulders!
