Celebrate Earth Day with the Jeep 4xe

Earth day was established in 1969 as a day for environmental education and awareness. Now more than ever, it’s important to recognize our impact on our planet and make a difference for a brighter future. Jeep is aware of the need for electric and hybrid vehicles in order to lower our carbon footprint, and thus introduced the Jeep Wrangler 4xe this year. Just because it is a hybrid doesn’t mean the Jeep 4xe isn’t powerful. Equipped with a 2.0-liter four cylinder turbocharged engine with two electric motors and a high-voltage battery pack, the 4xe can travel from zero to sixty miles per hour in just six seconds. This powerful system equips the 4xe to travel from zero to sixty miles per hour in just six seconds! Plus, it’s got a total driving range of nearly 400 miles with up to 25 miles of all-electric range. What about the horsepower of the 2021 Wrangler 4xe? This plug-in hybrid Wrangler produces an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful and efficient Wrangler available! 

Silent but deadly, the Wrangler 4xe can crawl rocks, ford water, and take on the most treacherous trails with hardly a sound from its engine. Like every Wrangler, the 4xe wears a “Trail Rated” badge that signifies its off-road capability and equipment including skid plates; front and rear tow hooks; 17-inch off-road wheels; an approach angle of 44 degrees, breakover angle of 22.5 degrees, departure angle of 35.6 degrees and ground clearance of 10.8 inches; and up to 30 inches of water fording.

What about the efficiency rating of the Wrangler 4xe? The hybrid Wrangler offers a combined fuel economy of 50 MPGe, making it the most efficient Jeep ever! As for charging, with the simple-to-use Level II Jeep Charger, it’s easier than ever to charge the 4xe quickly at home. This new charger can fully charge the Wrangler 4xe battery in approximately 2 hours, compared to 12 hours using the included Level I charging cable.
