Central Arkansas Berry Farm Offers Family Fun
After a verdant spring and an abundance of tulips, Wye Mountain Flower and Berry Farm is looking toward a successful summer of berry-picking!
Visitors can enjoy blueberry and blackberry picking staring Memorial Day weekend through the month of July. Prices are measured by the gallon for both blueberries and blackberries, sitting at just $20 a gallon. Visitors can expect to be picking blueberries in early June and blackberries toward the latter half of the month. The farm features nearly eight acres of berry farming, perfect for hosting eager families throughout the summer months. Buckets with liners are provided by the wonderful folks at Wye Mountain Flower and Berry Farm.
The farm offers much more than just berry picking. Visitors can enjoy a barnyard petting zoo, a funland play area (with swings and slides for the little ones) and plenty of photo opportunities amidst the beautiful plant life. More than three acres of flower fields provide a beautiful landscape to appreciate as while partaking in the joys of berry-picking.
Not able to make the trip? Wye Mountain Flower and Berry Farm will be running stalls at the Hillcrest (open Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon) and at the Westover Hills Farmers Markets (open Tuesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.) Both markets are located on Kavanaugh Boulevard in Little Rock.
Wye Mountain Flower and Berry Farm is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. The farm is closed on Sundays.
