Crush for a Cure 2019

For the seventh year in a row, Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is proud to host Crush for a Cure at the Arkansas State Fair!

The state fair kicks off the fall season with rides, games, concerts and tons of food. We hope that you’ll come by and take a swing at a clunker car with a pink sledgehammer in between riding the Ferris wheel and chowing down on a funnel cake!

For $1 per swing, we’ll hand you a small or large sledgehammer and a pair of goggles and let you have at it! It’s a great way to get a little aggression out while donating to local cancer research!

Once you’re done crushing, you’ll get a wristband and a sticker to show off that you crushed for a cure!

While you’re out crushing and fair-going, make sure you use our Crush for a Cure Snapchat filter. Simply open up your app and swipe through the filters to find ours!

Every dollar you help us raise with Crush for a Cure, we will match. Once we’ve tallied up all the total, we’ll make a donation to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS here in Little Rock.

We have donated over $40,000 throughout the past six years to cancer research, and we’re hoping to raise that number to $45,000 this year. But we can’t do that without your help!

The 2019 Crush for a Cure Kickoff will take place Friday, October 11 at 12 p.m. Big Steve will take the first swing, and he’ll be followed by a handful of doctors and researchers from the UAMS Cancer Institute! After that, it’s fair game!

The Crush for a Cure booth will be open from Oct. 11-20, every day of the fair in the afternoon from 11 a.m. until dark.

The booth and clunker cars are located near the Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Main Stage, the main drag of concessions and the Hall of Industry. Enter at Gate 7 and you’ll see us!
