Dodge Charger: Our Favorite 4-Door Muscle Car

The Dodge Charger is a legend with tons of power. It’s our favorite four-door muscle car, and in fact, it’s the world’s only four-door muscle car.
The Charger draws from its legendary heritage and styling, but it’s a muscle car that works for the modern driver. There are seven grades, so there’s a Charger for everyone: SXT, R/T, Daytona, R/T Scat Pack, Daytona 392, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat. With a starting price of $28,495, the Charger is accessible for anyone who wants a little muscle in their everyday drive.
The classic heritage make the Charger great, but so does the performance. The Dodge Charger is powered by a standard 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine and TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. The 5.7L HEMI V8, 392 HEMI V8 and supercharged 6.2L HEMI SRT Hellcat V8 engines are available for even more punch behind the pedal.

With the electronic shifter, the Dodge Charger gives an effortless transfer between gears with shift throws and low shift effort while giving visual and physical feedback in gear selection. Elevated driver control comes with the available steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters so you can shift gears without taking your hands off the wheel. Plus, the advanced all-wheel-drive system gives better control in harsh conditions thanks to its front axle disconnect.
When you’re driving a muscle car, you want it to sound like a muscle car. The Active Exhaust 2.75-inch electronically controlled exhaustive is standard on all HEMI V8 Chargers and lets the Charger roar.
We all know that the Dodge Charger is one powerful machine, but it’s pretty comfortable too. The available Demonic Red laguna Leather interior, available BeatsAudio sound system, more than 80 available safety and security features make driving this beast so much fun.
Plus, the 8.4-inch Uconnect system with radio touchscreen with multi-touch gestures, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, available navigation, tons of other apps and integrated backup camera make the act of driving that much better.
