Dodge, Jeep, & Ram Upcoming Hybrids

October 11th, 2021 by

Dodge, Jeep, and Ram have updated their future lineups to include hybrids. With car companies beginning to make strides towards lowering their emissions, the steady shift to hybrids should be no surprise. But we aren’t here to talk about every single hybrid about to make an appearance. We at Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram have all the information on the hybrids Dodge, Jeep, and Ram are releasing. These new electric vehicles are closer to reality than they may seem.

Dodge PHEV

The Dodge plug-in hybrid is coming in 2022. Other than that, the specifics are being kept under wraps until it gets here. Will it be a plug-in Charger? Challenger? Some are leaning towards an electric Durango. The new plug-in hybrid is promised, though, not to sacrifice any of its American Muscle characteristics. Dodge engineers are working on how to get more out of electric cars, and that goal is evident through their dedication to making muscle cars perform even better, not just electric vehicles. Check out this video to learn more about the new additions to the Dodge family.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe was announced days before Jeep’s 80th anniversary in July. The new plug-in hybrid has cemented its place in Jeep’s 2022 lineup right next to the 2022 Grand Cherokee and the 2022 Grand Wagoneer. The plug-in hybrid is another step towards Jeep’s goal of “Zero Emission, 100% Freedom,” and Jeep gets closer each year.

Ram Electric Truck

Ram is taking the challenge and striving to create an electric pickup truck, a 1500 that is set for 2024. This new futuristic Ram is set to surpass all of its competitors. The larger goal for Ram is to have an electric counterpart to all of their current vehicles by 2025. Watch this video to learn more about Ram’s electric plans.

Electric vehicles are on their way! Stellantis, the parent company of Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, has made this electric ambition clear. These new hybrids are only one step. Dodge is also working towards releasing an all-electric muscle car in 2024. Jeep has plans to release an all electric vehicle in 2023. Ram is currently focusing on its 2024 release.
