Halloween Activities in Little Rock
Halloween is almost here, and even through 2020 has already been pretty horrifying, we’re still looking forward to the frightfully fun weekend ahead! While traditional trick-or-treating and Halloween parties may be cancelled, there are still plenty of safe ways to enjoy the holiday this year in Little Rock. From drive-through trick-or-treating to socially-distanced trunk-or-treat events, there’s something for everyone, and with a vehicle from Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, you can take the whole family, too! “Dracula” Virtual Ballet with Ballet Arkansas | Virtual
On Saturday October 31 at 7 p.m., Ballet Arkansas will host a special virtual performance of the ballet, “Dracula.” This ballet is a bold new take on the classic story and features on-screen captions and photo and video elements. Register to attend the virtual ballet on their website.
Dog Costume Contest and Adoption Event | Bernice Garden
Dress up your dog in their spookiest (or cutest!) costume and bring them to Bernice Garden on Saturday, October 31st, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for a costume contest and adoption event! This event is hosted by Central Arkansas Rescue Effort for Animals (CARE) and will have a silent auction and adoptable animals, too. It’s only $5 to enter your pet in the costume contest and all the proceeds will go towards CARE. Learn more about the event here
SoMA Trunk-or-Treat | 1301 Main St, Little Rock
On Saturday, October 31, from 5-7:30 p.m., the SoMA Outdoor Dining District is hosting a trunk-or-treat event. Church groups and local businesses will line the parking lot with their vehicles and pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Arkansas Circus Arts Fall Show | Lake Willastein Park in Maumelle
The Arkansas Circus Arts is celebrating their 7th Anniversary and Halloween with a special free, outdoor performance. On November 1st, the Arkansas Circus Arts will offer performances from students and circus professionals including aerial acts, acrobatics, fire and flow arts. The event is free and will take place at Lake Willastein Park in Maumelle from 1 to 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to practice social distance and bring a blanket or folding chairs to sit on.
