Jeep Badge of Honor

Hey, Jeepers! Listen up. If you live for off-roading and trail riding in your Wrangler, Compass, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Renegade, other or antique Jeep, you’re a perfect candidate for the Badge of Honor program.

The Badge of Honor is an online community that celebrates the off-road life through the free smartphone app. In a nutshell, the app lets you check in and log your excursions on trails throughout the U.S. Once you have conquered those trails, you can then earn hard badges to display on your Jeep. This program is exclusively for Jeep owners and it’s entirely free.

Make a profile

Once you have downloaded the Badge of Honor app, the first thing to do is to create a profile and upload photo. Your profile is where you can check how many points you have earned, how many times you’ve checked into a trail, how many photos you have uploaded and how many badges you have under your belt — or under your tires.

Pick a trail

The app lets you browse 49 trails throughout the U.S. There are, of course, more than 49 off-road trails in the country, but these are the ones that Jeep has designated as Badge of Honor trails. You can save your favorite trails, see user photos and get information, highlights, difficulty ratings and trail directions.

In Arkansas, there are three trails at the Hot Springs ORV Park to earn badges: Rattlesnake, Rubicon Ridge and Fun Run.

The app also lets you know current weather conditions and how many hours and/or minutes of daylight remain.

Rack up points

Each time you head to a new trail, check in on your smartphone to earn points and record that you completed the trail. You can also earn points each time you participate in the Badge of Honor community and upload photos too.

Earn badges

Once you have checked in and completed a trail, not only do you earn a virtual badge in the app, but you can customize your Jeep with hard badges for that particular trail. To earn the hard badge, you’ll have to enter your VIN number and other information like your address. Did we mention the hard badges are free too? Pretty sweet, right?!
