Over the River and Through the Woods.. the Jeep Compass Trailhawk Goes

Heading to his grandparents’s house for Christmas was a tradition that Johnny would never miss out on. He was excited to celebrate the Christmas holiday with family and take his new Jeep Compass Trailhawk that he’d saved for years to buy on it’s first real trip.
Before leaving his house, Johnny had to admire his Compass Trailhawk’s 17-inch off-road tires, skid plates, black hood graphic and red front and rear tow hooks. He made a good choice with this Jeep.
Johnny climbed in, turned the Selec-Terrain knob to Auto, put the Compass Trailhawk in drive and hit the pavement. He was excited to see family, but he was also planning on doing a little trail riding before settling in with mom, dad, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

With the sun high above him, Johnny reached his favorite trail entrance off the highway. He switched the Selec-Terrain knob from Auto to exclusive Rock mode, which is why he chose the Trailhawk, and turned onto the trail. The rocks and dirt beneath his tires were easily conquered by his off-road tires thanks to the Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 system. The Trailhawk’s precision steering and tight turning diameter allowed him to get through small gaps in the trees, while the moonroof brought in sunlight through the branches above him.
On this trail there’s a shallow river that Johnny would avoid in his other vehicle. He tackled it with ease for the first time thanks to the Trailhawk’s 19 inches of water fording.
After an hour of playing on the trails in the woods, Johnny knew it was time to get to his grandparents house. He’d be exploring the woods with his cousins soon enough after the holiday festivities, but this first trip was just for him. The Trailhawk performed marvelously as Johnny drove over the river and through the woods to his grandparents house.
