Places to Off-road in Arkansas

There’s nothing like hopping in your Jeep Wrangler and heading to tear up the trails! Packing up a picnic lunch and trudging through the mud is a weekend and summer tradition in Arkansas and we take part as often as we can.

HOT SPRINGS OFF-ROAD VEHICLE PARK

From 9 a.m. to sunset Thursday to Monday you can drive your vehicle all over the trails at this park. There are tons of rocky, muddy trails to have fun on. You can even camp out and build a fire in the campground area. Trust us, roasting marshmallows after a day of trail riding is a must.

To ride the trails at the park, you must either pay a daily use fee or sign up for a yearly membership. Hot Springs ORV Park is located at 2100 Mill Creek Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901. The office phone number is (501) 625-3600.

BYRD’S ADVENTURE CENTER

Byrd’s has tons of amazing off-road trails for all skill levels, as well as challenging obstacle courses that draw Jeepers from all over the country. It was the first ORV park in Arkansas and it has the state’s largest rock garden. There are tons of other activities at Byrd’s as well. When you’re finished trudging through the mud and crawling over rocks for the day, check out the Riverfront Restaurant, go rock climbing, or get a kayak, raft or canoe and head to the Mulberry River.
