The Arkansas State Fair Presents “Taste of the Fair”

2020 has caused many events to be cancelled or postponed, including the annual Arkansas State Fair. Just because the fair is cancelled doesn’t mean you have to miss out on some of the fun! The Arkansas State Fair Complex is hosting a special socially-distanced event, “Taste of the Fair” where you can get all the crazy fair food you crave! Plus, we at Landers Auto Group will have a special snapchat tag just for the event! Read on to learn more! 

 

Next weekend, October 23-25, the Arkansas State Fair Complex is hosting the “Taste of the Fair” event featuring all your favorite state fair food vendors! This event will run from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. each day and free parking on the Midway will be available. Several precautions will be in place to ensure the safety of the vendors and customers: face masks are required for entry, one entrance and one exit will be established, markings on the ground will be posted to help encourage social distancing and all food will be packaged in to-go containers. For your dining delight,the following vendors will be present: 

  • McKinney Foods – Corn Dog & Funnel Cakes
  • Pavilion Grill – Turkey Legs, Cotton Candy & Caramel Apples
  • L&M Concessions – Funnel Cake Cheeseburger & Pineapple Whip
  • Ice Tea Box – Ice Tea and Fruit Punch
  • Pat’s Kitchen – Indian Tacos, Fry Bread & Fried Lasagna
  • Paizis Greek Foods – Gyros & Greek Salad
  • Westmoreland – Pizza, Taco Salad & Nacho Supreme
  • Ozark Nuts- Cinnamon Roasted Nuts & Kettle Korn
  • Kona Ice- Snow Cones
  • Fried What!- Deep Fried Oreos, Twinkies & Snickers, Fried Mac & Cheese & Fried Pickles

While you’re waiting in line for your food, made sure to find our Snapchat filter and snap some pics! Then, visit our virtual Crush for a Cure fundraiser to virtually “crush” a car. We’re bummed we can’t be out there with a clunker and our classic pink sledgehammer, but we’re still dedicated to giving back to the  Winthrop P.
