Warm up this October with this Chili Cook-Off!

Things got a little chilly on us! It’s finally fall in Arkansas and we’re loving the leaves changing and the thermometer dropping. Fall is perfect for local festivals and competitions, especially when the weather is so nice. Speaking of chilly, have you heard about the 14th Annual Edge 100.3 Halloween Chili Cook-Off? 

What better way to celebrate cooler weather than with a big bowl of chili? Come on out to the Outlets of Little Rock Saturday, October 26 and take part in the seasonal festivities! Dozens of local competitors will bring their A-game as they compete to earn the coveted ‘Best Chili in Arkansas’ award! Will the winner bring the spiciest chili imaginable or will the classic meat and beans take home the prize? There’s only one way to find out and you, yes you, get to sample the chilis and let your voice be heard!

A slew of runner-up awards will be presented alongside the top-prize. Each booth will also be covered in Halloween decorations and will offer candy so the little ones can trick-or-treat while you treat your stomach. Kids are encouraged to show up in costume and the first 1,000 visitors to the cook-off will receive a free trick-or-treat bag! Safelite Auto Glass has teamed up with The Edge to sell hot dogs during the event, perfect for making the ultimate chili dog. Drinks will also be available thanks to New Age Distributing.  

Admission is just $5 for adults and includes all the chili you can eat during the cook-off. Children under 12 enter for free, with the purchase of an adult ticket. Stomach grumbling? Yearning for a hearty bowl of chili? We’ll see you there!
