They don’t settle for what’s been done but instead conceive of incredible vehicles that no one has ever seen. This was the case with the 2035 Dodge SRT Tomahawk, a visionary design that first appeared in the Playstation 3 video game Gran Turismo 6.

In 2013, Sony Computer Entertainment released the sixth entry in the Gran Turismo franchise, a series of incredibly popular racing games. One of the highlights of the game was the Vision Gran Turismo project, where renowned auto companies were asked to design vehicles that represented their vision of peak performance in the future; the best creations would be chosen to appear in the game. Dodge eagerly stepped up to the challenge and presented the world with the awe-inspiring 2035 Dodge SRT Tomahawk. This futuristic concept car embodied the brand’s bold designs and uncompromising power.

Chrysler’s Newest Concept Car

In Gran Turismo 6, the 2035 Dodge SRT Tomahawk was made available in three trim levels: Street, GTS-R, and X. Each trim offered an escalating level of futuristic capability. The Street version of the Tomahawk delivered 1,007 horsepower, the GTS-R variant unleashed 1,450 horsepower, and the Tomahawk X presented drivers with an otherworldly 2,590 horsepower. This power was complemented by 9 tilting body panels that provided insane handling and almost no drag. The Tomahawk is still considered one of the best cars to appear in the game.

However, this beast may not be confined to the virtual world forever. In August, David Harbour and Orlando Bloom are set to star in the Sony Pictures film Gran Turismo. It’s possible that the iconic Tomahawk may make a cameo appearance!
