Our Inventory is a Jeeper’s Paradise

If you’re into Jeep, one of the coolest events of the year is the Easter Jeep Safari. This annual gathering started in 1967 and now draws 10s of thousands of fans to Moab, Utah, for some unforgettable trail rides. Another highly-anticipated component of the Easter Jeep Safari is the concept vehicles. Although the safari is not an official Jeep brand event, the company always takes the opportunity to reveal some mind-blowing concepts and product previews. This year they really upped the ante — the 57th safari introduced some of the boldest concepts ever!

What Did Jeep Reveal in 2022?

One of our favorite concepts at the 2023 Easter Jeep Safari was the Magneto 3.0, an all-electric Jeep Wrangler. In its third iteration, the Magneto Jeep concept represents Jeep’s commitment to reducing emissions and improving sustainability. The first Magneto was the inspiration behind Jeep 4xe, which currently includes plug-in hybrid versions of the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. This will also be the last year for the Magneto concept because, in 2024, the all-electric Jeep Recon will begin production.

Speaking of 4xe, another concept unveiled this year was a 1978 Jeep Cherokee reimagined as a 4xe vehicle. How did this come about? Jeep purchased the retro Cherokee off of Craiglist, accepted the challenge, and rebuilt it with the chassis and dual electric motors of a Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. Oh, how we wish this one was available for purchase… vintage flair with modern efficiency!

Other reveals for 2023 include the Scrambler 392 concept, a pink Wrangler Rubicon 4xe concept, the Gladiator Rubicon Sideburn concept, the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Departure concept, and the Grand Wagoneer Overland concept (complete with a carbon fiber rooftop camper called the “Skyloft.”) All in all, we got a look at seven incredible visions, each with its own je ne sais quoi.
